A Level Results 2026

Today was an emotional day as we gathered for one final time as a year group to bid farewell to our Year 13 students and celebrate everything they have achieved throughout their seven years of secondary education.

It was incredibly rewarding to see so many of our young people achieve the results they needed to progress to their chosen destinations, whether that be further education, employment, or training. The majority of students are moving on to Russell Group universities across the UK, embarking on specialist career courses at leading institutions, securing prestigious apprenticeships, or taking the opportunity to travel before the next stage of their journey. At Arnold Hill, we are passionate about providing high-quality careers education and pastoral support, so that every student is equipped to make the right choice for their future.

This year’s results are a testament to the hard work demonstrated by both students and staff. Over a quarter of all grades awarded were A* to A, while 49% of students achieved grades A* to B. Throughout their time at Arnold Hill, this cohort has consistently displayed the commitment and character needed to succeed.

A particular well done to the Aryad Mohamad and George Clarkson for securing their places at Oxford University to read History and French and Maths respectively.

“I am so happy with the results I have received today. The support from the teachers and the Sixth Form team has been absolutely vital in helping me achieve these results. My time in the Sixth Form has been an amazing experience and I am looking forward to University.” – George Clarkson, A*A*A*A*

“I am delighted to have secured my place at Oxford. Thanks to all my teachers and the support I had from the Trust Spires programme which introduced me to the course opportunities at Oxbridge following our visit last year.” – Aryad Mohamed, AAB

“I am very happy with the results I have achieved. Thanks to the constant care and support I had from my teachers, especially during the exam period, it really helped me.” – Isobel Gilbert, A*AA

“I had an incredible time in the Sixth Form. All the teachers supported me thoroughly and helped me achieve these grades. I particularly want to thank the Spanish department for their dedication and commitment.” – Head Boy, Sachin Mistry, A*A*A

Principal, Kerry Wiltshire, said: “I know that the students celebrating today have applied themselves diligently to their studies and attended additional learning sessions after school and during the holidays. Their achievements demonstrate that there is no shortcut to success!  We look forward to welcoming them back as alumni in the years ahead, knowing that their stories and successes will inspire future generations of Arnold Hill students.”
