The Carnegie Book Award

Our book group had a great day celebrating The Carnegie Book Award in the library. Our students have been shadowing The Carnegie Book award for the last 4 months, reading as many of the shortlisted books as possible. Our overall winner on the day went to the novel Glasgow Boys which also won the actual Carnegie award.

Millie a year 9 student also produced a fantastic piece of artwork depicting the two main characters which the author then went on to share on her social media account.
