This group has shown outstanding levels of organisation, trustworthiness, initiative and most of all a willingness to serve Arnold Hill and our wider community.
I am so proud to be part of what they have achieved this academic year!
As a group they have ran Sports clubs in four of our feeder schools, they have ran over 10 tournaments/events for local primary schools. These include Sports Hall Athletics, Basketball, Dodgeball, Tag Rugby , Football and Tag Wrestling!!!
They also single handedly ran the finish line and timekeeping for ALL Gedling Schools Athletic Championship meets. This is an outstanding achievement and was made more impressive by the efficiency that they displayed; finishing all races in record time! No pun intended!
Over this term they have supported 6 Sports Days for four of our feeder primary schools. Feedback from the schools have been excellent and reflects the great work these pupils are doing.
Overall, this outstanding group has impacted well over 1000 other youngsters in the Gedling area!
Next week they will run our transition trophy for over in the region of 270 of our new Y7 pupils.
